Karrinyup Shopping Centre

Case Study

Karrinyup Shopping Centre is home to over 290 stores. Stakeholders AMP Capital partnered with The Uniform Stylist to bring a placemaking led uniform vision to life. Delivered over their launch in 2021.

The staff resources required to service all areas therefore need to be coordinated, on brand and identifiable by all shoppers and guests.

AMP Capital Centre Management managers Brad Smith, Stephanie Larsen and Senior Marketing Manager Gemma OShea, embraced the opportunity to partner with The Uniform Stylist, and provided a comprehensive, detailed brief for each role, along with brand guidelines for us to adhere to.

With a key message for all roles: Uniforms are to be coastal cool”, while remaining to be quickly replenished as new staff are onboarded.

The Karrinyup Uniform Suite encompasses uniforms for concierge and valet teams, centre management, maintenance, security and cleaning services. Each outfit style has been signed off by a team of people passionate about ensuring staff are dressed to impress, always on brand, and that uniforms are functional to their specific roles.

We partnered with 16 suppliers to bring the Karrinyup vision to life, including NNT, Chef Works, Biz Collection, As Colour and many more. As well as a beautiful collaboration with local Perth fashion illustrator, Pippa McManus (commissioned by AMP Capital) to create unique a floral masterpiece that we printed on a silk scarf and pocket square.

The final result : A one stop shop service for a variety of staff roles (including name badges and belts, as well as promotional products like umbrellas, lanyards and caps) with customised branded pieces that create a unique and coastal cooluniform that all team members love to wear.
Gallery features : Concierge & Valet team member uniforms.
